 WE HAVE MOVED!

Premier Women's Health is growing, and as a result, we have moved our office effective January 1, 2009.  Fortunately, our new location is just north of our previous location (only one driveway north on Telegraph Rd.).  Our new address is 31500 Telegraph Rd., Suite 220 in Bingham Farms.  Our phone number and fax number have remained the same, so we anticipate a smooth transition involving no inconvenience to our patients.  We look forward to seeing you at our new location to continue providing you with the quality healthcare you have come to expect.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT HAS JOINED OUR PRACTICE

We are pleased to announce Melissa Rae, PA-C has joined our staff at Premier Women's Health.  Melissa earned her Physician Assistant Certification at Wayne State University and has a background of extensive experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.  She specializes in the management of Ob/Gyn patients, including prenatal care and obstetric ultrasounds, physical exams and diagnosis/treatment of various medical conditions.

With Melissa's support, we will now see patients five days a week with emergency appointments available as well.  Her collaboration with Dr. Matoian will compliment our efforts to provide the best possible medical care to our patients.  We are excited to have Melissa as a member of our team and invite you to join us in welcoming her.

Our hours have changed.  Please note the new office hours below, and call us at 248-723-6200 to schedule the time that is most convenient for you.  You may also request an appointment online by clicking on the "Request an Appointment" tab and completing the form.  One of our appointment schedulers will respond within 48 hours.

ATTENTION NEW MOTHERS TO-BE

Have you enrolled in your prenatal class yet?  Birthing classes are offered by a registered nurse who works at Beaumont Hospital Birthing Center.  Darlene teaches group classes through her home in Troy for a fee of $75.00.  She offers several options to accommodate your busy schedule including three Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm or one full Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, including lunch.  Private classes in your home are also available.  Call Darlene at 248.680.0847 for more information and to schedule the class that is most convenient for you.  It's a wonderful way to become informed and to prepare for this very special time in your life.

The anticipation of becoming new parents and actually having a new baby in your lives, especially for the first time, is very exciting and can also be overwhelming.  There are many resources available to make this a smooth and enjoyable transition.  Beaumont Hospital offers numerous prenatal and parent education classes that are informative and help guide you as prospective/new parents.
